What does the writing say on the tape?
What do the letters ‘YA’ represent?

The letters (originally KENYA) are now more about adding visual texture to the work. They were initially there with reference to another subject concerning European colonial histories (the original idea behind the work) but as the Brexit referendum result became apparent my anger was directed elsewhere regarding the ongoing history of Europe. Other textual changes were made and the title was amended.
